Actalent is actively hiring for an exciting FLOATING MEDICAL ASSISTANT for a growing specialty clinic based in Fort Wayne! APPLY TODAY!

We are working with a global leader in kidney specialty care and research. They are growing their team to impact the higher demand of patient at their two locations in Ft Wayne and two other locations within an hour drive of Ft Wayne. The initial diagnosis of kidney failure is scary and many become a patient for life. But this team makes life and treatment much more manageable and can help avoid full-term dialysis for as long as possible. They are looking for a patient-centric, dedicated Medical Assistant that will support back-office functions for 1-2 physicians.

Job Duties

• Set up computers and prepare rooms for patients at assigned location
• Welcome and room patients
• Collect medication and condition history, vitals, and other patient info
• Verify patient charting and ensure accurate communication provided to physicians
• Assist with messages, schedule follow up appointments, and collect treatment signatures as needed
• Will travel across multiple locations and assigned to a Physician Pod
• Provide a calm and caring environment while following HIPPA Guidelines

Qualifications:

• MA training completed, and MA certification would be preferred
• 1 year of clinical experience working with patients, EMR's, etc
